01. What is the meaning of life?

The question, "what is the meaning of life" is asking to know what life is, what life is all about, and purpose in life and how to ultimately and effectively live a better life. Life purpose assumes that the whole of existence should have a purpose, otherwise, a reason for existing. That's why there are several beliefs and perceptions about reality. But here, we're going to give you the ultimate answer to meaning and purpose. So bear with me.

The first question is knowing what life or reality and everything is. That question has been answered in a separate article in philosophy, reality, and life. You can access it in a separate category. But in a nutshell, life or reality is meaningless, and it's zero and an illusion. Life's meaning is zero; it doesn't matter, it doesn't exist, and it's just pointless. Life is a fantasy, to put it in another way. Life is a game, and you should play it how you want, morally, ethically, legally.

How do we know life is nothing?

The answer comes from taking rigorous research, observing the world or reality, and determining what life is. If you do not examine and analyse the world or life, of course, you will not know what it is. Unfortunately, not every ordinary person can deduce all these existential questions and deeply articulate everything in complete depth. So it takes earnest people who have what it takes, including the sacrifice, to delve in deer and get the truth. It's costly to come up with that answer, and I am not simply spitting out the answer out of thin air. That answer comes from a lot of mathematical analysis of many, many things in life.

The only life most people know of is the superficial life, surface view of life where it's believed to be the physical world or the physical existence, and the self or living things. But looking at life broadly and deeply, you'll discover that it contradicts that narrow-mindedness and surface view of reality. This is the reason why most people will have opposing truth to the actual absolute reality because it's not something they've ever dealt with or imagined. We have to acknowledge that life is everything; existence, reality, and the universe; everything as a whole is life. When the question what the meaning of life comes up, it's simply asking you to define everything and boil down everything and observe reality and see what it ultimately is. You see that?

But what is reality or life, indeed?

Well, most of us are blinded by the cover and never see the core. It's like something blocks us from seeing through; it's like the physical or material matter is blocking us from seeing deep through. Right? Right. Well, let's take an atom and let's say that's the smallest particle that makes up the seemingly physical and material matter you see or know, okay. Now, take that atom (the smallest particle) and zoom in as far as you can go, and tell yourself what you find. Are you convinced you'd find anything? I don't think so. You will zoom and keep going and will not find anything. You’ll not find something physical or tangible. It's just an illusion. Well, at a fundamental level, a life that is everything is also an illusion; it's nothing, it's zero, and it doesn't exist. That's the meaning of life.

The meaning of life or definition of life is nothing, fantasy, illusion. Now another meaning of life we're concerned about is our purpose in life. For example, we're constantly asking ourselves why are we here, what are we doing, our origin, future, work, etc. That's another meaning we refer to. Well, now it's easier to answer that question since we've now discovered what reality or life is. We've said life is nothing. Great. Now, what is the purpose of our life out of that nothingness? You may already have the answer. Let's look at the answer below and in much more detail and reiterate everything.

02. About purpose: what is our purpose of life then?

If life is meaningless, and zero, and an illusion, do you think you have an inherent purpose or reason for life? Would you say, out of that nothingness, we were created for a purpose and to come and do a particular task? If everything is nothing, are we anything, and do we still have to exist for a reason? Because it's easy to wish for an inherent reason for the existence of everything so we can hold someone accountable and look up to someone. It appears logical and common sense. To have a reason for everything, everything should have a cause.

Well, the saddest truth is, reality doesn't work like that. Reality is opposite to our common sense and wishing. We wish to have someone responsible for the creation, etc., because deep down in our mind, reality should work materialistically. Like a materialistic world is the first thing we know and are introduced to from birth, and to outgrow it, we have to do observation and studying. That's why as a kid, a materialistic paradigm is all you know. And you will apply that same principle to everything you do in life; without even knowing it, you're not considering the real reality. That's how we find ourselves hard-wired to think materialistically. In our material world, we know that something results from something, and nothing happens without a cause. That's the only thing we know; that's the surface belief that's easily thinkable. But the truth remains hidden, and it requires a lot of sacrifices and digging to get it.

So, what happens when you dig deep and observe reality very critically? You will discover that reality is nothing; existence, life, or the meaning of life is nothing. The world appears to be something material and tangible and awesome and intelligently designed, which, yes, it is intelligently designed, but all of it is an illusion.

It appears as if something exists when actually nothing exists. So we're here believing that something exists when in reality, nothing exist. This means that inherent purpose is invalid because nothing exists for there to be a purpose, to begin with. Reality has no intrinsic purpose because, first of all, it doesn't exist; it's not there. The same thing goes with you; you do not have an intrinsic purpose because why should you have a purpose anyway when you don't even exist? You see the problem? However, let's come back and assume we exist and the world is physical, though it doesn't have to. And let's ask ourselves again, what is the meaning and our purpose of life, then?

Well, you cannot change the meaning. The meaning will always remain nothing. But purpose or goal can only be self-made, self-determined. You decide why you're going to live for, what you're going to be doing, your purpose in life, what goals and things you will be pursuing will give meaning and sense into your life. Because you can't just live, actually, of course, you can live also. Because "Just living" is a purpose as well. The thing is, we're all living. But the most important thing is to live and live doing something that we love and pleases us. We do not want to live out of control and without order. That's the wrong purpose to take, and it's being irresponsible and not coming up with solutions for your life.

Just because life is meaningless and means nothing doesn't mean it means nothing in the sense you might be thinking. Actually, life being meaningless is reality, and it's the truth and the best thing there can ever be, and there's no other way reality can be other than nothing. Reality is perfect that way, and let's not try to make it what it can't be according to our wishful thinking and trying to be biased, and trying to twist reality to meet our little agendas. We're nothing to reality, and life doesn't favour anyone. Life doesn't see you or even care about you. But we're here wanting it to care and favour us. Like how on earth is something that's nothing and unconsciously give you a hand? Do you see the wishful thinking we have? It's like we fail to use our logic and think open-mindedly. We just fall back and think anyhow according to what we vaguely believe without any criticism and analysis.

So, it's important not to be biased and try to twist reality and define it subjectively. Reality is contrary to wishful thinking and vague thinking. Reality and life, and true meaning come from being absolutely critical in your observations. Being precise is where truth or reality and life and meaning is.

Therefore, we can conclude that the meaning of life and the inherent purpose of life is nothing, but that doesn't mean life is nothing. Your purpose of life is in you, the fact that you're living, and the fact that you're functional and practical. Live and utilise yourself, your machinery, to do whatever you want to do. Whatever you do is determined by you, so determine it and determine your goals and missions you want t achieve and go for them. Life to the fullest, explore, learn, experience, take care of yourself, discipline yourself, and make yourself proud. Those are some of the goals we all share other than fighting for survival and just living. We all want to survive, but we all want to have the best of life. The world we live in is us who created it and continue to improve the experiences we live. So, be part of our solution and together, let's build a world we can all enjoy. Help us create paradise in this world rather than bring us headache and chaos. We're all the same, and no one's different.

Reality or the meaning of life is your life framework; what you think reality is and are conscious and aligned with. It's that which you call your mindset, belief, philosophy of perception, which guides you. That's your concept or idea or philosophy of life which will guide every aspect of your life. Without the right mindset, this truth about reality will remain confused and still search for themselves since they're yet to be content and fulfilled.

1. Your purpose to live is because you're not living; you're not alive, you don't exist. So it makes no difference to live or not. So, whatever decision you take, choose to live or not, it all doesn't matter. However, would you rather not choose to live and make the best out of life? I think choosing to live is the best option since, in both ways, there's nothing to lose. Right? There you have it: nothing to fear, nothing to lose. So take your life into your hand, be accountable for it, and walk it the way you want. A wise person would cherish their life and do the right thing with it. An ignorant person will just abuse their luck.

2. Prove yourself what you can achieve; to build your life, to build an exceptional life you can be proud of. That includes learning, self-mastery, and personal development. Then learning your niches and building your life.

3. To experience life; everything. Observe, learn, enjoy, adventure, waste life, play, and just be a part of life. Create life and learn and just live extraordinarily as there's nothing to lose.

Since you know life and yourself, in essence, you have self-mastered yourself. But the job is not over; there are still tons and tons of things to learn, so don't even imagine quitting. Education comes first before anything else. Throwing education is killing yourself and destring life. So do not mess with knowledge, my friend. I repeat, do not mess with knowledge, especially true knowledge. You need to learn forever and invest in rigorous learning of truth for a couple of years to have a fully consolidated world and so you can truly become phenomenal in every aspect of your life. Remember that the foundation is hard and expensive to build, but it's necessary for all-around greatness.

This is why you must never give up and invest a lot into attaining truth and precision in everything. Besides, personal development is not limited to discovering yourself and having purpose and meaning. It's way deeper than you think, and I am not going to lie here. There's also self-care, building your life, building your ideas, building this and that, and sorting your lifestyles out and keeping yourself inspired and motivated and revised and constantly maintained. Consider all of those before you decide to take learning lightly. It's a long journey we're all going, and the journey ends once we die. That's the hardest truth to swallow. Keep learning, and never give up. The average person doesn't value knowledge; they're completely blind to everything. So, you tell me, how will these people get anywhere? But let's focus on our individual needs first here, then others will come last in our thoughts.

03. The rest is history.

Above are some of the main reasons to live your life and how to approach it, i.e. valuing education, experiencing life to the fullest, and creating a life that's exceptional and one you can be very proud of; live a life you can be proud of, not the one you will regret.

Life is all about reaching your fullest potential and proving to yourself that you worked hard for what you desired, and you achieved them and are grateful for your time in life. That's all. If you have the wrong purpose and meaning of life, of course, you'll waste it doing the wrong things and will die a loser. Okay, maybe not exactly a loser, but it's still quite painful, right? It's a painful loss to live a meaningless life; that's why people constantly seek to improve themselves and learn and ensure that they're approaching life the right way, so they do not lose and live ridiculous lives.

So consider re-evaluating your beliefs and philosophies and ensuring they're correct and aligns with the truth and meaning of life because the person that will suffer and incur all the losses for having a misconstrued reality or meaning is you, nobody else. The ultimate purpose of life is to build an exceptional life for yourself, enjoy your life, and live life exceptionally and free of others opinions and stress. Have freedom, peace, and happiness. That, in a nutshell, is what life is all about. Well done, and keep it up.

04. Summary

The main point of this great guide was as follow:

The question, " what is the meaning of life" is asking to know what life is, what life is all about, and purpose in life and how to ultimately and effectively live a better life. The meaning of life is in looking at life and observing it, and seeing what it is. From then, we can conclude how we should approach life, based o what reality is and based on what we're in the world and what we all value. Your morals should derive from your knowledge of reality and the common values and purpose we share, the fact that we're all here by serendipity and want the best in life and generally to enjoy life. That's the purpose of life; do what you want, enjoy your life, and prove yourself. That's the best purpose to give yourself. You're not here for a specific and intrinsic mission; the only mission you have is the mission you create for yourself. But meaning remains the meaning of reality.

05. Conclusion

Congratulations!

Well done, you've made it once again; another one in the bag, an outstanding achievement. Definitely, something to be proud of, for it's not so easy. You've achieved something most people don't and will never have. So, be grateful and realise your blessings, and pat yourself on the back; reading alone is in itself a success.
