INTRODUCTION

What is money? Can you correctly define and articulate the meaning? Because the wrong definitions of anything is the wrong truth and destiny; it will work against you. That's why need to reevaluate our definitions of money. Most people have a very vague idea about money and that's very sad and dangerous also. Let's change the perception around it so we can truly win in our lives.

Paper money is so instilled deep in us that it's the only thing we know of, yet we don't know how it keeps us blinded from the real truth. The truth that money is not the paper but something else. The people who talk about money the most are those without a good understanding of it, yet they act very knowledgeably. But these same people have torn out pockets and financial insecurity. So, stop acting like your cup is full and let's tackle the problem here and grasp the truth in order to win.

01. So, what is money?

We need to understand what money is, otherwise, we may easily misconstrue and misunderstand it, leading to a number of chaos; from devaluing its power, to having an incorrect perception of it and approaching it immorally. So it's key to really understand this money subject properly.

Money is nothing special just like everything else. Money is not those paper you see, money is simply value. We can give and take away value from things. We can use numbers to numerically represent value. Everything is value, and we're the ones that assign value to things depending on a number of factors.

Factors that determine the value, for example, the type of product, scarcity, refinery, quality, how new that thing is, expirations, and efforts taken to produce it, and comparison with the market, and affordability, etc. Money is nothing but value. Most people have a deformed or distorted view of money. They think money is something that's inherent in reality, but money is only relative to the value we give certain items and services; it's not absolute or suspended in reality; it only exists because of us, and we're the ones who determine the value. Let's stop thinking about money as in paper so much, let's start thinking in terms of value rather than paper of some numerical digits.

Highly successful people don't think in terms of money, they think in terms of the value they're providing, and that's why their money or value grows exponentially because they're just used to think of everything as value. The money you have in your bank account right now is proportional to the amount of value you have exchanged for it. But no, most people will just think of money as some separate entity.

Now that we know what money is, how do we get it, how do we earn it?

02. How to get your money

We already know that money is i.e. value, so forget about the little paper perspective that's stack in your head or the numbers in your bank accounts. Those numbers and papers only allow us to be able to exchange value from one entity to the next by exchanging our products and services efficiently. Back in the days we never used to use papers and numbers, we'd simply barter trade and just exchange product for product, product for service, or service for product, or service for service.

Think value and you're ready to become very wealthy. When it comes to money, successful people don't even think of it at all. They simply focus on providing value in a work they love, and they raise their value or wealth just like that.

If you want money go and give value in the forms of providing a service or product that people want, that the world wants. And what you'll get back is a value that's directly proportional to the value you've given. It's still in essence exchanging value for value. The only difference is we now assign numbers to value. How valuable is your product or service, and can your clients afford it? Plus several factors as mentioned at the beginning of this guide.

Acknowledge that everything is priceless, reality is priceless, it's endless, and it’s absolute. But in this superficial world of ours, value is not absolute. It's limited and is relative to our value we give it; how essential it is, how much importance we give something.

03. Misconceptions to debunk

There are many misconceptions around money that if you don't tackle them, you could end up sabotaging your own abundance of material wealth. Some of these are just excuses and fears. Such misconceptions and excuses include;

1. Money is the root of all evil: Very pathetic notion, only used by people who lack intellectual-discipline and all-around meaning and understanding of life. Only used by those who don't understand what money is and don't think of money in terms of value. Only used by people who have the wrong definition of money and have misconstrued it and have an incomprehensive definition of money. Only used by those who have been fooled and duped with flawed beliefs.

2. Money is not everything; another pathetic notion and an excuse for not having money or not being able to earn it. All of them help reassure a financially unstable person that they're okay without money, so they do not have to suffer the humiliations and shame. There's also the fear of having a lot of wealth; apparently, it's overwhelming, and your life is somehow in danger, etc. But all of those bad ideas come from miseducation. Please, go and get your money as soon as humanly possible. Money is power. Stop listening to all of those sabotaging notions used by uneducated people and those with the intention of shutting you down.

3. Money doesn't give you happiness: Another rationalisation for not having money, having a limited understanding of money and everything else, is the thing to blame for this. Another way to defend oneself from confrontations and shame.

The truth is money is value just like everything else. And since everything else also is value, then technically, money is happiness because happiness is value. So, please, do yourself a favour, and go and get your money. Money is happiness, money represents value, and money represents a lot of things. Money is the value that will make you content and your desires and tummy fulfilled. There’s many other misconceptions and excuses people have against money. But all of those are a result of a lack of proper education, not necessarily formal education because even those who have attended higher educations have all these fallacies in them. So the problem is people lack depth, meaning, and real clarity. The solution is to take learning seriously and approach learning critically and sincerely.

Be a lifelong learner and always be curious and learn. Truthfully and to the fullest degree master every subject and develop serious distinction within subjects. Just like you're learning right now, keep learning and expanding your awareness. There's always something to improve, so don't feel as though your cup is already full.
